Pro tips

Small things that make the result better.

✦Start at 75% quality. Go lower only if you need an even smaller file.
✦Use WEBP for websites — it is usually smaller than JPG.
✦Compress photos, not logos or screenshots with sharp text (use PNG for those).

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my image quality get worse?+

At 70–85% quality the difference is almost impossible to see, while the file becomes far smaller. Lower values reduce size more but may show blur.

Which format compresses best?+

WEBP is usually smallest, JPG is great for photos, and PNG is best for graphics with sharp edges or transparency.

Is there a file size limit?+

No server limit, but very large images depend on your device memory. Images up to around 20 MB work fine on most devices.

Is my data safe?+

Yes. Everything runs inside your own browser. Your text, files and images are never uploaded to any server.

Is this tool really free?+

Yes — completely free, no signup, no watermark and no usage limit.
